JustBodies Coaching Sessions are available for individuals and people in all types of relationships.
My coaching sessions differ from talk-based therapy, as I use primarily somatic (body-based) practices. This body-based strategy is particularly useful when dealing with issues of the body, sexuality, and intimacy, because the body can often move through spaces where the mind is stuck. My methods combine movement with mind-set, playfulness with deep listening, and patience with positive encouragement. I create a non judgemental space for the spectrum of emotions that arise when we spend time with our bodies. My approach draws on my training as a Somatic Sex Educator and Doula (Birth Assistant), as well as two decades working as an facilitator in the fields of diversity and inclusion, anti-oppression and liberation, restorative justice, healing and expressive arts. Sessions can take place in person, by phone or video call.
